Indonesian Snakefruit “Salak”
Outside; brown, shape of a fig and as well a bit reminding of a passion fruit. But the shell is similar to a snakeskin in the pattern; therefore the name.
Inside; 3 beige/ light yellow pieces of fruit meet, like a garlic. The pieces are almost like chestnuts. Within these 3 “garlic pieces” there is a big brown seed.
Taste; Very sweet, a bit similar to pineapple.
Consistency; Crunchy and moist consistency. Almost similar to a fresh coconut
